When problems arise try to identify the causes.
When faced with a problem situation new managers frequently feel they need to solve the problem instantly and jump straight in trying to solve what might not exist.
Do not assume that symptoms are problems.
Take a step back.
Observe
the situation. Collect information. Try to find the exact nature
of the problem. Solutions will be easier and more likely to work
well.
