This is intended for teachers and home educators.
We have not restricted ourselves to the confines of the UK National Curriculum, as the nature of the internet means that Zephyrus will be accessed globally. For the same reason we have not separated the material into the Key Stages. The overall aim of the site is to encourage enquiry, the utilisation of information and to extend the horizons of the student. In doing this, it may take them into areas that seem to stray away from the UK National Curriculum, but this is intentional in order to allow creativity, particularly in the preparation and production of topic work.
A degree of literacy is necessary to gain maximum benefit from the work presented here and for this we make no apologies. We have deliberately avoided the "Kid syndrome" as the site is designed to be accessed by all ages and abilities and the two are not necessarily the same.
